Hello and welcome to the Helmer Pools™ Web site. We are located in Santa Rosa Beach located in beautiful Walton County in Northwest Florida Panhandel.
Helmer Pools™ specializes in building luxury, custom designed in-ground gunite swimming pools and spas. We pledge to listen to your ideas and dreams and involve you in the building and design process of your pool and spa project every step of the way. We want you to feel comfortable with the design and construction process and we encourage your questions and concerns in your projects.
We creatively use our design skills, experience and craftsmanship to build you a quality pool that is not only unique and beautiful aesthetically but also built to the highest safety standards required by city and state codes. If you plan on building either a simple budget friendly pool or elaborate retreat we will help you get the most for your money without compromising on construction standards.
While working with us at Helmer Pools™ you will experience a personal touch that is hard to attain through the larger companies who mass produce ‘cookie cutter’ pools.
We have built this site with you the customer/property owner in mind. We have added as much information on the pool building process as possible. We believe the more educated you are the more likely you are to have a finished pool project you are extremely satisfied with.
Maybe you've just purchased a home with a pool. Your children are thrilled and can't wait for warmer weather to arrive. You, on the other hand, are a little overwhelmed. You see, while the kids just care that they have a pool, you want a pool that looks like it is from this generation!
Don't despair. Sprucing up a dated looking pool is something you can certainly accomplish – and for a lot less money than building a pool from scratch. Here are some things to consider.
• Is the pool in good shape? Your first consideration should be the pool's structure. If it needs repairs, those should be the first items on your "to do" list. Talk to a professional for help in getting cracks or liners repaired and for taking care of issues with pumps and filters.
• Chlorine or Salt Water? Many pool owners are converting to salt water pools. They are easier to maintain, and require fewer chemicals. Your pool specialist can help you make the conversion easy.
• Simple Upgrades. If your pool looks dated, there are some simple things you can do to update the look. Consider adding new tiles to the perimeter of the pool to add color, or just a more modern motif.
Even adding new plants around the pool or some statues can help bring the look into today without spending a lot of money.
• Talk to a professional. Before you spend any money, talk to a professional who can examine your pool and offer suggestions about repairs that might be required as well as upgrades that will fit your budget. If you get a good idea of what you need and want to do first, you can determine a time frame for making all the upgrades you desire without breaking the bank.
"Eric, I want to let you know how much we are enjoying our new pool! We never imagined it would change the entire complexity of our home and back yard. Please express our appreciate to your crew for a beautiful, well designed and constructed pool."
"Our pool is beautiful. We are very well pleased with the way it looks. We had a waterfall built and the rockwork is just really out of this world. We just love it."
"It was a pleasure doing business with your company. Everyone who sees our pool says the same thing, that they can't believe we got such a beautiful big pool in our little back yard. We truly love the design. "Artists" seems like a better description than "construction workers."
